[NEW UPDATE] Dengue Cases in S'pore Continue to Rises.
The number of reported dengue cases for the week of 31 March to 5 April was 327.In the week of 24 to 30 March, there were 315 cases. Singapore has been, in past, severely hit with dengue. In 2005, there were a total of 13,984 dengue fever cases and 19 people died. The outbreak peaked in the months of September and October, when it caused hospitals to cancel some elective surgery due to the need to allocate morebeds for dengue patients.
